Let's Talk Hangers

Hangers matter. They should be velvet and sturdy. Period.
Foolishly, I resisted making this change for years, convincing myself that velvet hangers were an unnecessary expense...until I officially launched my organizing business. I then wished to create a "glamour shot" of my closet, and uniform hangers were a MUST. Then, I started using them, and I experienced a certain joy in knowing my tops and dresses would always have the same "feel" when removing it from a hanger. I know what to expect - every time! Also, it looks great, and that matters, too, because I am in my closet every day. And so are you!

Here is what I recommend: available at Amazon is the Closet Complete brand. They really are more sturdy than the average velvet hanger available in most stores. However, I found some at the Container Store, which are likely sturdy too if you prefer shopping. Beware of the velvet hangers at the Marshalls or TJMaxx check out, they tend to be flimsy.
You will need many more than you think, the average person requires about 200! You could just start with 100 and see where it gets you, which will cost about $46.
Now, go forth and "velvet hangerize." It is a quick and easy way to feel great every day in your closet! #juststart #itsafeeling
